How to create trackable links for a product

Trackable links are unique to you. When you share this link and someone clicks on it, we’ll know you referred them. This is how we are able to track your referrals, attribute sales to you and calculate your commissions. Trackable links begin with https://audenti.city/...

1. Browse the Product Catalog for products you already know and love. 
2. Click the link to copy it to your clipboard. 

You can also view the details for any product in the catalog and get your trackable link from there.

Creating trackable links for a retailer

If you love everything from a specific retailer, you can create your unique link for that store, rather than for a specific product. The trackable link will also begin with https://audenti.city/...

1. Browse all the retailers available on the Audenticity platform.
2. Click the 3 dots underneath the logo.
3. Click "Create link".
4. Click "Copy link" to copy it to your clipboard.

Sharing trackable links

Text links can be embedded anywhere you can add a link. 

• Website: Text links can be embedded within a blog post or at the bottom of a post featuring multiple products. They can also be placed on images to make them clickable. Shopping guides are popular evergreen content for sharing text links.
• Instagram: You can add a link to an Instagram story. If you want to make the story more permanent, consider adding the story to a Highlight that remains on your profile. You can even create a Product Recommendations highlight to house all your favorite products. You can also add the link to your profile, or if you have a link-in bio service, you can add it there.
• YouTube: Add text links in the description for products you’re showing off in YouTube videos.
• Emails and newsletters: You can share the link directly with a friend in an email or add it to newsletters that you send out to a mailing list. 
• Facebook: Share the link in a status update or post to a group. When posting to a group, make sure the group rules allow you to post affiliate links. 
• Text messages and chat apps: Direct one-to-one communications are great opportunities to make product recommendations. 
• Podcasts: If you talk about a product in your podcast, you can add this to the Show Notes. 

Adding new products

While all the products from our Premier Partners are automatically added to the Product Catalog, not all products from our Standard Retailers are included. You can still earn commission for products from their stores, but you'll first need to add those products to the Product Catalog.

Favoriting a Product

When you "Favorite" a product, it'll be added to your public "Favorites Page" that you can share with your friends and fans. To add your Favorite items, find the products you love and click “Favorite”. It will then show as “Favorited” and added to this page.  

Creating collections

You can organize your Favorites into Collections so that it's easier for your fans and followers to quickly find what they are looking for. You can create any kind of collection - for an upcoming holiday (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas), party themes (dinosaurs, unicorns), gift ideas (for every age), and the most popular one of all, baby showers and registries.

When you "Favorite" a product, it'll be added to your public "Favorites Page". You'll then see a pop up that says "Add to Collection". Tap that button and create a new Collection. Or if you have already created a Collection, you can add it to an existing one.

Then you can share your Collections on Instagram, on your blog, anywhere you can drop a link.
